Text to song AI: describe it, hear it sung
Type one line about what the song is about and hear two full songs with real vocals.
The basics
What is text to song?
Text to song AI turns a written description, a text prompt, into an original song with lyrics, vocals and a full arrangement. On YueMusic you type what the song is about in up to 300 characters in the box above. The lyric helper writes verses and a chorus into the lyrics box, where you can read and edit them, and Suno V6 sings them.
Each generation returns two complete versions in about one to two minutes and costs 10 credits, taken only after the songs are delivered. New accounts get 10 credits, enough for one generation, and every song plays in full in your browser. For MP3 downloads and more songs, plans start at $9.9 a month, or get the $14.9 Gift Song pack once.
Already have the words? Paste them on the lyrics to song page and they are sung as written. Making the song for someone else's birthday or anniversary? Start from a personalized song instead.

Three A.M. Refills [Verse 1] The neon sign buzzes a tired red glow The cook scrapes the grill, there's nowhere to go I cinch up my apron and grab the carafe Pour coffee for strangers who stopped on the path The trucker with callused and road-weary hands The woman who's crying and making no plans The college kid nursing his pie and his pride And me, filling cups while the whole city slides [Chorus] Three a.m. refills, the pot never sleeps I pour what I've got for the lost and the beat The world spins its daytime without us in mind But something keeps burning at three a.m. time [Verse 2] The vinyl booth squeaks as the old timer shifts He orders his usual, no menu, no list He tells me his wife used to make it this way I pour him a cup and I don't know what to say The kitchen clock ticks like a metronome ghost I wipe down the counter and top off each roast We don't share our names, but we share this strange night Just strangers and coffee and fluorescent light [Chorus] Three a.m. refills, the pot never sleeps I pour what I've got for the lost and the beat The world spins its daytime without us in mind But something keeps burning at three a.m. time [Bridge] Maybe we're all just passing through Looking for warmth when the cold gets too true I don't need to know where you've been or you're going Long as the coffee keeps hot and keeps flowing [Outro] The sunrise comes slow through the grease-fogged glass I flip the sign over, the night shift has passed But for a few hours we held the dark back With a pot of black coffee and no looking back
- What we typed
- an upbeat song about a road trip down the coast with my best friends, windows down, singing badly
- Style
- indie pop, warm female vocal
- Time

Wide Open & Off-Key [Verse 1] Tank's full, map's wrong, we don't even care Salt wind and sunscreen tangled in our hair You called shotgun before I turned the key Four idiots and one good memory Rolled the windows down somewhere past mile nine Passed a billboard, passed a diner, passed the county line You said "turn it up" and I said "you don't have to ask" Living like we never want to get there fast [Chorus] Coast highway, nowhere to be Screaming every word to every song off-key Sun on the dash and the world rolling by We sound terrible and I've never felt so alive Windows down, hair a mess, voices cracking loud The worst singers on the prettiest road We don't care — we're proud Wide open and off-key [Verse 2] Someone dropped their fries somewhere outside of town Half a bag of chips and a playlist running down You harmonized in a key that doesn't exist And I laughed so hard I nearly had to pull over and quit The ocean showed up somewhere on the left We all went quiet for a second, caught our breath Then somebody started singing softer, slower, sweet And we all joined in — still wrong, still perfect, still complete [Chorus] Coast highway, nowhere to be Screaming every word to every song off-key Sun on the dash and the world rolling by We sound terrible and I've never felt so alive Windows down, hair a mess, voices cracking loud The worst singers on the prettiest road We don't care — we're proud Wide open and off-key [Bridge] These are the days we're gonna talk about When the winters come and the years stretch out We'll say — remember that drive? Remember how loud? Remember how free we felt? We were [Final Chorus] Coast highway, sun going low Still singing badly as we watch the last light go Windows down, one more mile, voices cracking loud The worst singers on the prettiest road We don't care — we're proud Wide open and off-key Wide open and off-key

The helper turned each one-line idea into a full song with verses, a chorus and a bridge, and added details we never typed, like the trucker and the old man's late wife in the diner song. Both versions of a song share those lyrics but have their own melody and arrangement. The four songs run 3:34, 3:19, 3:06 and 3:14.
Both songs from one generation sit side by side. Cover art came back from the music engine with each song. The cards show the opening lines; the full lyrics are above.
What you get
What does the text to song generator do?
The same tool you see at the top of this page, in four parts.

Lyrics written from your line, before anything is sung
The lyric helper turns your description into a titled song with [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] sections and shows it in the lyrics box. Rewrite any line before you generate. Drafting lyrics does not use credits.

Genre, mood and tempo in your own words
Write genre, mood, tempo, instruments and vocal feel in up to 200 characters, or tap one of twelve presets: indie pop, acoustic ballad, lo-fi hip hop, 80s synthwave, R&B soul, cinematic orchestral, rock anthem, EDM, country, smooth jazz, K-pop and indie folk. Leave it blank and your description sets the style.

Choose the voice, or no voice
Pick Auto, Male or Female as a vocal hint, or describe the voice in the style line, such as "warm female vocal". Choose Instrumental for music without singing.

Listen online, download MP3
Both versions play in full in your browser and stay in your song history. Download the one you like as an MP3 with a subscription or a credit pack, or share a play-only link for free.
How it works
How do I turn text into a song?
To turn text into a song, type what the song is about in the box at the top of this page, add a style if you want one, then sign in and press Generate. YueMusic writes the lyrics, shows them so you can edit, and sings two complete versions in about one to two minutes.

Writing the prompt
What should I type to get a good song?
Say what the song is about and give one concrete detail: a place, a time, a person or an object. "A song about my job" works, but "a song about the night shift at a 24-hour diner, pouring coffee for strangers at 3 a.m." gives the lyric helper something to build verses around. Names you include usually end up in the lyrics.
Put the sound in the style box rather than the description: genre, mood, tempo and voice, such as "indie pop, warm female vocal" or "slow country, acoustic guitar". Words like upbeat or sad in the description also steer the lyrics, as "upbeat" did in our road trip example.
Not happy with the words? Edit them in the lyrics box before you generate, or switch to the From lyrics tab and write your own, up to 3,000 characters. Not happy with the sound? Change the style line and generate again; each run costs 10 credits and returns two new versions.
Who it is for
Who is text to song for?
You don't need to write lyrics or know music. You need something to sing about.
- 01
A song about your day, job or town
The night shift, the commute, the city you grew up in. Ordinary details make good songs, like the diner example above.
- 02
Friends, family and pets
A road trip, a group chat joke or the dog who steals socks. Put the names in your line and play the song at the next get-together.
- 03
Songwriters testing an idea
Hear a theme as a full song in two styles before you spend an evening writing it, then rewrite the lyrics your way on the lyrics to song page.
- 04
Teachers and parents
Describe a topic, like the planets or the water cycle, and pick a bright, simple style so the facts are easy to sing along to.
